HISTORY
The Imagine Center for Conflict Transformation is an independent, non-political organization dedicated to transforming relationships and laying the foundations for sustainable peace in conflict-affected societies.
Founded in 2007 as an Armenian–Azerbaijani dialogue initiative, Imagine has grown into a global organization connecting hundreds of professionals across conflict divides. What began as a modest effort to foster understanding between two societies has evolved into a broad network committed to re-envisioning peace across regions marked by division and mistrust.
The Imagine Center has implemented a wide range of initiatives—from research, conferences, and methodology development to dialogues, trainings, workshops, and peace campaigns. Our programs have reached participants in Armenian–Azerbaijani, Turkish–Armenian, Syrian, Georgian–Abkhazian, Georgian–South Ossetian, Russian–Ukrainian, and other contexts, engaging youth, analysts, historians, policymakers, educators, and journalists.
Over the past twenty years, Imagine has evolved into a platform for open dialogue and collaborative learning, where people from diverse backgrounds come together to analyze conflicts, build relationships, and co-create visions for peace.
The Imagine Center’s governing documents, conflict-of-interest policy, and financial statements are available upon written request.
