Job opening: Finance Manager (part-time, remote)

The Imagine Center for Conflict Transformation is looking for a part-time Finance Manager responsible for the financial management and reporting of several small- to midsize grant projects. This position is fully remote.

Roles & Responsibilities

● Keep track and detailed records of all expenditure incurring across projects,
● Collect and organize evidences, financial files, reports, timesheets, and invoices for the projects according to grant regulations,
● Track budgets and expenditures, monitor project balances; plan budgets and expense projections in
cooperation with project teams,
● Coordinate with projects’ teams to ensure that expenditure is compliant with local legislation and
donor requirements
● Compile interim and final financial reports based on donor requirements and templates
● Coordinate internal and external audits
● Create and implement financial policies to guarantee operational efficiency

Requirements

● At least 5 years of professional experience in the financial management of grants and projects
● Demonstrated track record in administering financial reports;
● Ability to manage and process financial data in different currencies, and languages
● Experience with financial audits;
● Experience with EU-funded and/or US-funded projects with be considered an asset;
● Basic accounting knowledge and experience
● Knowledge of accounting and financial management software will be considered an asset;
● Solid ICT skills, high proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
● Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

The foreseen workload for this position is on average 7 days per month with a flexible schedule. The actual workload might vary from month to month depending on factors such as reporting deadlines and project activities. The remuneration for this position will be based on the number of days worked per month.
